We often employ the services of fully qualified & insured sub-contractors to carry out works on our behalf. These contractors are vetted to the best of our ability and given guidelines on what we expect from them when working on our behalf. The service explanations above are guidelines we work towards as a company and do not necessarily represent the legal requirements as determined by any regulatory body associated with a particular service. Smart Certs (and Krown Group) can not take any responsibility for the way in which individual contractors perform/interpret their jobs if contrary to the guidance set out above. Smart Certs will consider a job successful if according to the professional opinion of a qualified contractor the works were completed to the expected minimum standard according to any legislation/regulation governing that particular service and paperwork is produced to that effect. Any complaints must be sent in writing to admin@smartcerts.co.uk and we will do our best to resolve any issues.

If it is evident that due to the workmanship/negligence of any sub-contractor damage has been caused to persons or property the relevant details of the contractor will be supplied in order to process any legal claims. For further information please see our full Terms & Conditions.
